Bug Description
Binary package hint: splashy
I was trying to install splashy 0.3.13-5ubuntu1 after installing startupmanager so that I could have a cool splash screen instead of just a text message saying "Grub loading...". However, after choosing splashy in Synaptic package manger and clicking apply (with the dependencies automatically selected), it gave me the above error. It's not essential to have a splash screen, but I have no idea why this error happened. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala.

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation.
/etc/lsb- base-logging. sh should not be included in splashy.
Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work, I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here. Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!
