Bug Description

Binary package hint: specimen

There is no LASH support for Specimen in Ubuntu.

Official LASH support has been incorporated into the next release (0.5.2) of Specimen which is now in RC3. If the next release won't make it to Hardy then the current version (0.5.1) should be patched to offer LASH support. Such patch exists and should be applicable to 0.5.1.

Seems like the newest version of specimen 0.5.2rc3 is now synced from debian to Ubuntu. So at least part of this bug is completed :). I heard from some people involved with specimen that the LASH support is partly broken in 0.5.2rc3. So maybe a patch is needed after all. I'll test the new version w/ LASH and report back so no need to close this bug yet!
