Sound Converter Never Finishes Adding Files from a Folder of .ra files

Bug Description

Binary package hint: soundconverter

I've have a folder full of real audio files where each file in that folder has the extension ".ra".

When I add this folder to sound converter, I see an "adding files" status in the bottom status panel, but the files never get added, and the status "adding files" never changes.

There is no indication of an error, but the status hangs, never adding any of the files in that folder.

Real audio files, such as the ones I'm speaking of, can be found here:

SoundConverter has a whitelist of mime types, so we can skip files we are not able to read.
You found two problems with it. First, realaudio files are not in the whitelist and thus are rejected. Second, when you add only rejected files, SoundConverter hangs.

Changed in soundconverter (Ubuntu):

status: New → Confirmed
