Bug Description

Hello, everything is in the summary: when trying to convert a file from mp3 to wav or flac format, the output file is:
- very large, about 70MB instead of 40MB
- containing anything listenable: the sound is covered with very loud parasites

This bug seems to appear not only on my computer.

Does this happen with ALL converted files? Could you please try to play the original and the converted file in totem (if you didn't already do so)?
Thanks for your help.
