Bug Description

Binary package hint: soundconverter

When converting wma files to mp3, sound converter doesn't write ID3 tgas information that are retreive from wma file.

Step to reproduce:
1. Add an audio file tto be converted
2. Ensure tags information are retreive (wait some second so SoundConverter will get it and display it in the list).
3. Start the convertion
4. Open it in Movide Player (totem)
5. There is no information available

Expected result:
When the convertion finish, I expect the file to contain at least the same information present in wma files. So when playing in Totem, the track information are available.

Is there any plan to add this feature? I see all the song details correctly extracted from the wma files and displayed in the list of files to be converted. It's a pity that the same information is not used for id3tagging the mp3/flac files.

As a workaround, you can use the command id3cp (if converting mp3 -> mp3)
 id3cp source-with-tags.mp3 destination-without-tags.mp3
id3cp is available in libid3 dev package.
