Bug Description
On my two EeePC 1001PX, sound recording doesn't work since Ubuntu 12 (12.04 LTS or 12.10).
It doesn't work with gnome-sound-
I have downgraded Ubuntu to Ubuntu 11.10 and sound recording is OK again.
Would it be possible to let it work on Ubuntu 12?

I was disappointed to find that on both 13.04 and 13.10 that Sound Recorder is still broken. It looks like we don't have a
maintainer. Audacity does work so at least we have a work around. My Grandson uses Sound Recorder to practice his
Saxaphone and it is used for other purposes as well by me. It is still downloadable via the Software Center so I would make
a plea for some kind person who knows how to debug and fix this simple and easy to use application.
