Still exists 17.10 amongst dozens of other issues with 17.10 No wonder why they (right after releasing 17.10) recently announced Bionic Beaver (18.04 LTS), and it's release date is too soon. They knowingly released an inferior operating system, and will soon be an IPO on wall street. Next you'll see them asking $120.00 for the operating system instead of working on donations. It is a tragic end to Ubuntu. The new CEO is tearing the company apart, and running it into the ground. This is straight up planned obsolescence. The old one is the CEO for Microsoft now, and Windows offers Ubuntu support through the app store now. Coincidence?
