Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
From launchpadhelp - Adding a PPA's keys to your system :
"Adding the keys using Gnome
Step 1: Visit the PPA's overview page in Launchpad.
Step 2: Click the key fingerprint on the overview page.
Step 3: This will take you to the key's page in the Ubuntu keyserver. Click the ID
Step 4: Copy the public key
Step 5: Paste the public key into a text editor and save it.
Step 6: Open System-
Step 7: Click Import Key File, select the key you saved earlier and you're done! "

But we could have a few less steps if Synaptic could allow to directly paste the key (in the same way that we do for adding a PPA to our Ubuntu repositories : we don't paste the PPA's URL in a file through a text editor to finally import the Key File, we just paste the PPA's URL into Synaptic)
Therefore it would be cool if Authentication tab in System-
Import key file / paste Key / remove
instead of :
Import key / remove
