Bug Description
While it might not be very important I believe there is a inconsistency problem in "Software sources" (System > administration > software sources) and more precisely in the "Download from" drop-down list
*Explanation:
I installed Ubuntu in English (localization: US English) and chose Japan for my location.
By default (after install) the "Download from" drop-down list contains:
-Main server
-Server for US
-Server for Japan
-Other
and the default choice is "Server for Japan" which seems totally logical. (server in the country where the user is located)
*Problem
Now if I happen to manually select a server ("Other..." > the user select a server or choose "Select best server")
The drop-down list changes to:
-Main server
-Server for US
-*Server I selected*
-Other
Note that "Server for Japan" as disappeared from the list !! I find this confusing. There seem to be no way to select that option afterwards.
It think that:
-Only the geographic position in relevant to the choice of server. Therefore even if my default language is set to "US English", "Server for United States" should not appear, but only "server for x" (x being the country of the user location*)
(Note that the default setting is relevant though.)
*I imagine there aren't server for all the country so a relevant decision should be taken it the case from the user country. I don't know how it is handles right now.
-You should be able to select "server for x" x being any country where server are available.
(I am thinking in the "choose a download server" window)
