software properties unknown to ubuntu software

Bug Description

open the dash, right click on 'software properties' select 'show details' gnome software opens with a message 'unable to find "software-properties-gtk.desktop"

it seems gnome-software is unable to find info also for all other applications.
may be related to a problem on sources.list

software-properties-gtk crashed with
aptsources.distro.NoDistroTemplateException in get_sources(): Error:
could not find a distribution template for Ubuntu/eoan

problem also selecting 'show details' of an app from launcher. Ubuntu software does not find himself
