[hardy] ImportError: No module named gtk.SoftwarePropertiesGtk

Bug Description

When trying to access SoftwarePropertiesGtk from synaptic or hte admin menu, i've got:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/software-properties-gtk", line 44, in <module>
    from softwareproperties.gtk.SoftwarePropertiesGtk import SoftwarePropertiesGtk
ImportError: No module named gtk.SoftwarePropertiesGtk

(synaptic:29161): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_view_unref_tree_helper: assertion `node != NULL' failed
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/apt/__init__.py:18: FutureWarning: apt API not stable yet
  warnings.warn("apt API not stable yet", FutureWarning)

using Gutsy, with Hardy reps.

Same problem here! I am using Gutsy with Gutsy reps, but these were manually changed back to Gutsy after having used Hardy for a while (since I did that, a few parts of the system has been performing poorly).

I'm closing this as I can't reproduce this in my Hardy installation (and it is likely to be caused by the fact that you changed your sources list without doing a full upgrade). Thanks for taking the time to report the issue, nevertheless.

Changed in software-properties:
status: New → Invalid

old bug, with non-standard configurarion.
I now know better...

never use repos from another version... I should have run update-manager -d.
