software-properties-gtk crashed with UnboundLocalError in _on_error(): local variable 'error' referenced before assignment

crash on trying to refresh software repository after delete some repository entry from repository manager ("programs and updates" app). After exit from this process, was asked to refresh the cache... but the refresh window doesn't appear on the screen.
