I'm running Saucy Alpha Am64 on a HP Eny 6 Sleakbook. Had just reverted from the AMD Graphics driver back to the default xserver-xorg-video-ati driver due to boot instability. It completed in the Software & Updates window, I hit the 'Restart' button and the crash occurred.

I was just hit by this on XUbuntu 14.04 as well. The Apport submit dialog identified my problem as a duplicate of this bug, but I found https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-properties/+bug/1429185 which looks like a better place to continue discussions if you are on Xubuntu.
