Bug Description

I would like to be able to browse by publisher.
If I am looking at a software, I would like a "More from this publisher" link.

I want to be able to list everything from a publisher, example;
* Electronic Arts (EA Games)
* GNU Project
* Apache Software Foundation

Thanks Fred, this seems a good suggestion! We have set it as a wishlist item so that we can track it as we plan feature development for Ubuntu Software Center.

Best regards,
Gary

This is not the first time I run into this suggestion. Some developers are worried that potential users could have problems trying to reach their software if they only know the name of the company or another of their products, and they have a point. Software Center's dev team should take a closer look into this.

When you find something from a publisher and you like it, you might want to explore what else that publisher offers.

Also the publisher can help you decide if you want to trust it or not. Example if it is published by the GNU Project or the Apache Software Foundation then that lends credibility and I know I can trust it.
