Bug Description
I configured my desktop to have a static IP address on my network and I don't let network manager manage the connection. This makes SC seem to think I am not connected to the internet at all and refuses to enable any "install" buttons.
It also says: "No network connection - Connect to the Internet to see more reviews"
It's plainly wrong.

Hi Julian! Thanks for your report. In fact, this one's a known issue and we are currently trying to figure out the correct solution. Please see bug 911706 for details. I'll mark this one a dupe of that one.
Thanks again!
