Bug Description
If it affects unity as well, than please mark it.
How to reproduce:
- Start installing anything from the software center with "new apps in launcher" enabled
- After a while, interrupt the installation from the software center
what should happen:
the app's icon should disappear from the launcher
what happens instead:
the icon stays in the launcher, making the user think that it might have been installed even though they interrupted the installation
On the attached screenshot you can see that geany is not installed on the computer, but it has an icon in the launcher as a result of this problem.
