Bug Description

In software-center 5.2 (12.04) with the default theme, highlighted text is difficult to see. The text becomes very slightly greyer. This is opposed to being surrounded by orange and the text becoming white as expected by the default theme.

1. Open the Software Centre.
2. Select an application.
3. Try to highlight part of description of the application (not the name of it or the short description under that, but the longer description often to the left of a picture).
4. Observe the lack of the usual orange highlighting, and a very slight grey change instead.
5. Right click and select Copy, then paste elsewhere to show that it actually was highlighted.

This made copying (for example a URL) difficult as it was harder to see what was selected.

I think this is different from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/929974
as that seems to be about an earlier version not having copying or highlighting functionality at all.

I am attaching an image, although I don't think it's very useful for this type of bug. "manipulate devices" is meant to be highlighted in the image. The slight grey change might not be visible in the screenshot.

It is best to try to replicate it.

I should clarify that by "description", I mean the longer section of text and not the summary that is directly under the application/package name. That summary is highlighted as expected.

Marked the light-themes task as Invalid, as the bug seems to be in software-center's description.py, if I set the SELECTED stateflags in the config_colors method manually, the highlight is displayed correctly on selection, but somehow works a bit strange on focusout and focusin.
