When trying to download flash player on the Ubuntu Software Center store it says that it cannot download and then says check your internet connection, sure it's not suppose to do that...

Hi Nick, and thank you for your report. I took a look at your logs attached above and I see the following line at the very end:
Failed to fetch http:// security. ubuntu. com/ubuntu/ pool/multiverse /f/flashplugin- nonfree/ flashplugin- installer_ 11.1.102. 62ubuntu0. 11.10.2_ i386.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.92.166 80]

This seems to indicate that there was indeed a network error, and hopefully this was a temporary condition. Could you please let us know if you are still experiencing this problem?
Also, please update your machine if have not recently.
