it doesn't load when launched

Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 and I tried to run Ubuntu Software Center, but it didn't load though it loaded before. The Ubuntu Software Center is version 5.0.6, checked by "apt-cache policy software-center".

Hi Emilis, and thank you for your bug report. So that we can try to gather more information to help us to debug this issue, could you please try running Software Center from a terminal window as follows:

  $ software-center

Then then please paste any output in the terminal to this bug report.

Hi Emilis, thanks for your reply! And please, no apology needed at all, no bug is ever time wasting!

I'm glad it's fixed after restart. I suspect that this is actually a duplicate of bug 772549, so I will mark it as such (the workaround there is to restart or kill an existing software-center process, so that seems to fit your description of what happened.
