Bug Description

It seems that apps with keys are not automagically utilising the keys.

This could be a server or client issue so I'll add it to both

Hi Dave, just wondering why you set this one as "invalid". Is it actually a dupe of bug 969266? I can't quite tell from that bug whether this really is a problem, but it does seem as if automatic import of license keys may be broken. Please take a look at bug 969266, which I've re-opened and asked if you could test this to make sure it indeed works correctly.

Thanks Dave!!

I wrote the bug initially due to the fact that license keys weren't being writen to opt, I was testing in oneiric though and there it doesn't. Then we thought that the keys weren't being used on precise but then utilising an unreleased app that uses the keys correctly it seems that it was the apps at fault and not us.

To that end the bug became invalid.

I will run some further tests in some down time to see who is utilising the keys like the demo app and who aren't.
