Bug Description

I'm not sure if this is directly the fault of the banner or if the toolkit is drawing something incorrectly but, as you can see from the attached image, the banner seems to stick out past the edge of the window. This is also evident on the right-hand side of the window, too.

I have version 5.1.11 of USC installed (using Beta 1 of Precise) with all updates installed.

fwiw - this is not a leakage of the banner area, rather it's the 1px border of the window which has a gradient applied to it - this gradient works for apps which have a short toolbar, but for apps like software-center which have a slightly taller toolbar you get side effects like this

Good eye, Ian! And kiwinote, thanks for the details! Any thoughts on whether we ought to try to fix this?

If that is the gradient issue, then its outside of the control of software-center so this needs to be reassigned to the theme. Or am I missing something here?
