Hello Kshitiz, or anyone else affected,

Accepted software-center into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

This bug is difficult to reproduce reliably, but to test you can simply do a few installs and removes from the details page for some different apps. In some test cases, try scrolling to a different point in the view during the installation/removal. This will help insure that there are no regressions.

I've done this testing with software-center 5.2.1 in precise-proposed, and can verify that this fix does not cause regressions or problems of any kind.

Many thanks!
