update-software-center crashed with AttributeError in __init__(): type object 'File' has no attribute 'new_for_path'

Bug Description

This just happened after a fresh install with all of the updates applied. This window popped up after I tried to mount my flash drive and it said 'not authorized.' I don't know if that is related or not.
