software-center-gtk3 crashed with AttributeError in rebuild_categorised_view(): 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'query'

Rebooted after updating, logged in via LightDM to Unity 2D. Used Dash to search for an application (Cross Over Games) and then mulitple crashes started being reported.
