Bug Description
I'm using Ubuntu 11.04.
The problem is noticed when I choose to download and install apps from Ubuntu Software Centre 4.0.4.
Specifically, when I click the install button for Thunderbird by Mozilla I get a warning message telling me that package files cannot be downloaded and to check my internet connection ( which is fine, broadband connection, used without network-manager ).
However, installing from the application details page works.

Thank you for helping us to improve Ubuntu. What kind of internet connection are you using? Do you use network-manager to establish a connection, or something else? wiki.ubuntu. com/BugSquad
