software-center crashed with OSError in makedirs(): [Errno 17] File exists: '/home/ubuntu/.cache/software-center'

i was trying to install adobe falshplayer and then it said that the software center crashed i think it is because it ask me to choose a program to install i dont know where to install it so it goes to the software center and then it crashes and i thought the computer chooses for you
