cannot install anything

Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

When I click install On anything, the button turns greyed for a second then goes back to normal and nothing happens. I am using Ubuntu 11.04

I had this same problem and I just found the answer here

Once I removed the bad package, install worked again.
