Empty window for Ubuntu Software center

When I start Ubuntu Software Center, I just get an empty window. See the screenshot below.

I think .. i think this started to happen after dbus and python2.7 .. initially i had python 2.6 .. but after the update .. this happened .. again this is a may be ...

Hi folks, thanks for your reports. This one is actually a duplicate of an earlier report, bug 772549, so I'll mark it as such. If you check bug 772549, you'll see that a workaround is to simply reboot. After that, Software Center should start as normal and you should have no further difficulties.

However, if you are still having this problem it would be very useful to us we we could get a stack trace that will hopefully give us some clues as to what is causing this error. If you don't mind, please do the following:

1. Open a terminal window and start software-center from there with the command (note *no* sudo):

  $ software-center

And paste the output of the command here.

2. Attach your software-center log file to this bug; it's found here:

  ~/.cache/software-center/software-center.log
