Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
There is no way of overriding the security notice in Ubuntu Software Centre. This means that there are many packages that cannot be installed except by commandline or synaptic. Obviously a security warning is vital, but an override should be available if someone really wants to install a package. I tried to install three packages yesterday using the Software Centre, and had to resort to the command line for all of them. One was a bash tutorial consisting of html pages and sample scripts. Very little danger with that one ... I see the policy, but an override would be nice!
