Requires installation of untrusted packages appears every time I try to load a new program

Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 - the Maverick Meerkat - released in October 2010 I have been trying to install a program from the ubuntu software center and it comes up with "Requires installation of untrusted packages" The action would require the installation of packages from not authenticated sources.
