Binary package hint: software-center
Hello Ubuntu Team,
Hier is something that is keeping from using Software Center :
when I need to install many software , Software Center chooses this path to install the application :
1- download the package source
2- install the package
3-when installing I peek up another package to install
4-wait for the last install-process to end
5- download the new chosen package source
6- install this package
7 . the action repeat from (1) to (6)
Conclusion : it take more time.
Proposed solution :
When Installing a package, if there is another package in the queue , Software Center should start downloading the package source for this new package waiting on the queue.
Conclusion : we have a gain in time.
Because of this , it is hard , at least for me , to forget about synaptic |
