2010-12-27 21:09:52 Vish software-center (Ubuntu): importance Undecided Low
2011-09-16 14:07:06 Matthew Paul Thomas description Binary package hint: software-center Steps to reproduce: 1: Select two or more .deb files 2: Select to open in SC Multiple instances of SC open for each deb file. If we try the same by selecting one .deb file at a time, it opens the latest .deb selected within the same instance of SC. we should probably queue multiple deb files instead of switching to last selected one too(probably a separate bug?) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: software-center 3.0.7 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-27.48~lp652934v201011301338-generic 2.6.32.26+drm33.11 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-27-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Dec 28 02:30:32 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Alpha i386 (20100924) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_IN SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: software-center Ubuntu Software Center 3.0.7, Ubuntu 10.10 Ubuntu Software Center 4.1.23.2, Ubuntu 11.10 beta 1 Steps to reproduce: 1: Select two or more .deb files in Nautilus. 2: Choose "File" > "Open in Ubuntu Software Center". What happens: Multiple instances of USC open, one for each deb file. What should happen: One instance opens, showing a custom list for the packages. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#Launching_from_multiple_standalone_.deb_packages>
