Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
On first-use the Software Centre may offer some Recommendations. If the user follows this and installs (or even views) one of the Recommendations, and then searches in the top-right-hand box then the user will only see matching results from within Recommendations (zero results).
Ideally the interface would provide results from within the full-set if there are no matches within the subset; or otherwise inform the user that they are stuck in a sub-category and are unlikely to be getting the results expected or intended.
