Authentication window sometimes fails to close after entering password

In software center and other programs that require password authentication, sometimes the authentication window fails to close after entering the password and selecting "Authenticate". The window will close if I press the 'X' and it will accept the authentication an progress as normal, so this isn't a major issue, but a minor annoyance and may confuse some people
