Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

I am using 10.04 Beta but this also happens on another computer running 9.10:
Search software-center for »sgt-puzzles« – every game there, though listed individually, uses the screenshot of Slant (one of the packages’ games).

I guess that this is quite confusing if you are opening a game not knowing it belongs to that pack.

An example is attached.

I’m on the latest development release and it’s still happening for me. Maybe it’s because I upgraded from Lucid?

Hi Jan-Christoph. I misread the description, thinking that the bug was concerning the icons, rather than the screenshots. Sorry about that. At the moment screenshots.ubuntu.com only supports screenshots per packagename, rather than per application, so it may be a while before this really gets fixed. Thanks for your help.

Hey Kiwinote, no problem. At least now I know what the problem is, thanks. :)

I think that this is a problem with the package. Just as gnome-games was split up, shouldn't this package be split up?

This is not going to happen, at least not in Debian. This package currently has 31 games and it would be ridiculous to put each one in its own package - particularly since they are currently built as a single busybox-style executable.
