software-center crashed with TypeError in is_action_in_progress_for_selected_app()

I entered a search term but had a typo in it, so I corrected the search term while the search was running, that's when the crash report appeared. The 'Ubuntu Software Center' however did not crash and I could search for packages again after the crash popup appeared.
