This also affected me while trying to use the Software Center to install "non-free fonts". Bug report sent, and this bug changed to "Confirmed".

Same here, I was installing Ubuntu restricted extra's (which includes the non-free fonts).

Hi, thanks for reporting this bug! This one's a duplicate of bug 531780. Note that this bug has been fixed and the fix will be available in the next development release of Software Center in Lucid.
