2010-02-25 23:58:25 Gary Lasker description Binary package hint: software-center According to the software center spec (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#software-item-screen), the search entry field should not be visible when viewing the software item screen (aka, the application detail view). To reproduce: 1. Open software center 2. In the "Departments" screen, click the "Accessories" category 3. In the list of items displayed, choose "Alarm Clock" and click the "More Info" button 4. Note that the search entry field is displayed. Expected result: The search field is hidden when in the "Alarm Clock" details view. 5. In addition, if you actually enter something into the search field, the navigation buttons at the top of the screen don't handle it well at all (see attached screen shot). That said, the search results for the accessories category are displayed correctly in the results list.
