Binary package hint: software-center
Pressing "close" on the screen shot preview button crashes Ubuntu Software Centre
Step to repro:
1. launch Ubuntu Software Centre
2. Select a category
3. Select an application you wish to install
3. Select "More Info"
4. Click on Screenshot
5. Click "close"
Boom.... Ubuntu control centre crahses.
If you click on the window close button (top right corner of the window) the entire Ubuntu software centre closes. That is also a bug.

One way of fixing this would be to implement <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#software-item-screen>: "Activating the screenshot (by clicking it, or pressing Enter when it is focused) should open it in your preferred image viewer." (That is, having USC not use its own screenshot window at all.) |
