software-center crashed with TypeError in call_async()

Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

everytime i try and get sotware from software centre it gives me this problem with it saying it closed unexpectedly. ive tried using terminal also but when it asks for password i cant type my password in it just has a flashing cursor. im using net book
