Binary package hint: software-center
Ok, a few days after the installation of 9.10 It worked fine. Since about a week or so, I can't see any menu regarding the software center.
I had to type this: /usr/bin/

Can you right click on applications, select Edit Menus and make sure you haven't disabled it in there?
