Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

If the net connection is problematic, download can freeze at some point, for example 36% and stay there with no further progress. If a download does not progress, a new connection should be attempted.

thanks for this bug report. I think this is not actually something software center have a problem. as I have seen this happen to make from command line as well. anyways could you try Ubuntu 10.10 and see if you can reproduce the problem
