2010-04-27 16:56:50 Michael Vogt bug task added software-center (Ubuntu Lucid)
2010-04-27 16:58:57 Michael Vogt description Binary package hint: software-center After opening the Ubuntu Software Center, going to Edit->Software Sources causes the Software Center to increase the CPU usage to 100%. After the Software Sources window is closed, CPU usage returns to normal. Opening Software Sources from the System->Administration menu doesn't cause this (no matter whether the Ubuntu Software Center is open or not). This is using a system that had a fresh install of Jaunty, and was just upgraded to Karmic. ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Oct 23 21:42:28 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: software-center 1.0.1 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: software-center Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 Binary package hint: software-center After opening the Ubuntu Software Center, going to Edit->Software Sources causes the Software Center to increase the CPU usage to 100%.
