This affects me too. When trying to remove any installed software (previously installed through Software Store), the removal fails.

I don't know if it is related, but I got this error when I installed the application: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/444089

I reviewed the stderr output from Software Center when trying to install or remove anything, and there appeared to be a problem with apport not having privileges to write to /var/crash. I tried running it as root, and got a usable report from that, which seems to be the same as this one.

The bug here is that it needs a later version of aptdaemon (one that until recently was not in the archive). If you upgrade to the current version of aptdaemon it should work again (0.10+bzr258-0ubuntu1).
