ptksol, Ubuntu 11.10 reached End Of Life on 13 May 2013 -- a year and a half before you reported this bug. There have been many changes to Ubuntu Software Center since then, so the bug may have been fixed. If you still experience it in a current version (14.04 or 15.04), please reopen the report.
