Bug Description

clean installed 14.04 last night and ran updates. I installed synaptic through software center after install and it installed without error.

this morning I upgraded the system (3.13.0-24 update) and tried to install restricted extras, it froze at applying changes. I've quit and restarted, software centre is still trying to apply changes and so I cannot install new software.

I am affected by this bug while installing playonlinux.
Steps to reproduce :
1) Lanuch software center
2) Search for playonlinux
3) Click install and wait forever

Workaround :
reboot
sudo dpkg --configure -

Indeed there is a ttf-mscorefonts-installerthat complains about missing datas...
