(software-center:22747): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'software-center' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadDrawable (invalid Pixmap or Window parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 2063 error_code 9 request_code 62 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment
variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Please update your system with the following commands in a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T):

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Then reboot.

If the problem resolved, let us know.

If the problem persists, then open a terminal and start software center with the following command:

    software-center --debug

it will print useful debugging information.

Attach a separate .txt file with the output.

Best Regards

Is this bug related to this bug 1163886 ?

Do you have any repositories (PPA) enabled ? Especially GNOME 3 PPA

The bug message from the terminal looks similar to the #2 message from the bug 1163886, but I'm not sure if it is the same becasue I had no messages or reports about any signal 5.

I did not enable any PPA repositories including GNOME 3. They can be enabled only if they were enabled automaticly after installation of the system.
