TEST CASE:- regression test enough, install a application and verify that it still works
- for a real test you will have to get into a situation where there is a real transaction failure like logging into a system that has no policykit-authentication-agent running. this can be done via xfce and killall polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1
(I'd imagine you could also install a package of bad quality (I believe Google Chrome is one based off another SRU I looked at today.) and inspect the .crash file in /var/crash to see what the DuplicateSignature looks like.)
REGRESSION POTENTIAL: low, this code is triggered if there is a error already, the point of it is to make it easier to detect the error class via errors.ubuntu.com
triggered when I started the computer.
