Bug Description
When applications are installed via Software Centre the icon for the installed applications should appear in the launcher. However, if the Software Centre is closed before the application has finished installing the icon does not appear but the application is still installed.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Software Centre
Install one or more applications
Close the Software Centre before the applications have finished installing
Open Software Centre and search for the application(s) to verify that they have been installed
