Bug Description

According to

http://blog.snort.org/2017/02/snort-2976-is-approaching.html

 the End of Life (EOL) for Snort version 2.9.7.6's ruleset is approaching on March 13th.

But 16.04 still has snort 2.9.7.0!

Ubuntu have to provide fresh snort!

18.04 still uses Snort 2.9.7.
Current community rules (https://snort.org/downloads/community/community-rules.tar.gz) are incompatible with this version.
